Trained in Cremona, Gregg T. Alf has spent more than four decades at the forefront of contemporary violin making. His instruments have been played by artists including Ruggiero Ricci, Elmar Oliveira and Zvi Zeitlin, while his work as a teacher, judge and curator has taken him throughout the international violin-making world.
