Alf Studios Gregg T. Alf Concert Violin

This violin is made from a personal del Gesù Prince Doria model using a one-piece back cut on the quarter from strongly flamed maple. The curl is of broad and ascends to the bass. The scroll and ribs are of the same wood. The two-piece top is of medium grain European spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a red-orange varnish on a golden ground as is lightly antiqued.
