This violin is crafted on a personal Del Gesù model, featuring a one-piece back of European maple, cut on the quarter. The curl is of regular to medium width and ascends toward the bass side. The scroll and ribs are made from similar wood. The two-piece top is of European spruce with noticeable hazelfichte, and irregular medium grain, which broadens toward the flanks. The instrument is finished with a red-orange varnish over a golden ground and is lightly antiqued.
