This violin is made from a personal Guarneri ‘del Gesù’ Lord Wilton model using a one-piece back cut on the quarter from Bosnian maple. The curl is of broad width and ascends to the bass side. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of European spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a red-orange varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
