This violin is made from a personal Del Gesù model using a one-piece back cut on the quarter from European maple. The curl is of broad width and runs straigh across the back. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of European spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a red-orange varnish on a golden ground and is lightly antiqued.
