Alf Studios Gregg T. Alf Concert Violin

This violin is made from a personal 'Del Gesù' Ole Bull model using a two-piece back cut on the quarter from strongly flamed maple. The curl is of medium to broad width and descends from the center. The scroll is of similar maple and the ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of medium to narrow grain spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with an orange-brown varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
