This violin is crafted on a personal Del Gesù model, featuring a one-piece back of European maple, cut on the quarter. The curl is of regular to medium to narrow width and ascends toward the right. The scroll and ribs are made from similar wood. The two-piece top is of European spruce with narrow-to-wide grain and noticeable hazelfichte, with the grain broadening toward the flanks. The instrument is finished with a red-orange varnish over a golden ground and is lightly antiqued.
